From the company behind Ventnor Fringe 2019’s ★★★★★ The Trial (“captivating”, DIVA Magazine) and ★★★★★ Busu & The Damask Drum (“extravagant and visual”, The Wee Review), Utter Mess! features the critically acclaimed Inês Sampaio and Etsuko Shirasaka, in a show that mixes theatre, live music, clowing and magic. In search for meaning and connection, a company of artists end up in Tokyo’s Museum of Lost Things, a curious place where nothing is remembered forever.
Their new reality is chaotic and they are now in a place of magic – where the magic always goes wrong. Frankly, it’s an utter mess. Exploring what we remember and what we forget – Utter Mess! is about how we connect with others and ourselves.
